Come check out a Water Wise Green Infrastructure 101 Workshop Tuesday, May 10th from 6-8pm at the TEP center at 5909 St Claude Avenue in partnership with @lower9nola
Happy Monday! We hope you had a relaxing weekend. We were so excited to be able to share about green infrastructure in New Orleans East this weekend! First we were at the Louisiana Audubon Nature Center for Party for the Planet where we used our green infrastructure models to show how rain gardens and permeable pavers work. We also hosted a Green Infrastructure 101 Workshop to begin our next cohort of Neighborhood Champions. Pictured here is Raymond Sweet leading the workshop and discussing permeable pavers. On Sunday, we tabled at St Maria Goretti’s Spring Parish Picnic to meet with folks about how green infrastructure can help improve drainage on their property. 💝💝💝
Tomorrow is our first Green Infrastructure 101 Workshop of the year at the Louisiana Audubon Nature Center on Lake Forest Blvd! Check out some of the latest green infrastructure projects that have been installed thanks to our contractors and partners @buildwithgravel @groundworknola @builtbyubuntu @lagreencorps @mastodonte_la
Our 2nd Culture of Cleanliness Event was a success 👏 thanks to all of our partners for coming through @greatertremeconsortium @groundworknola @epagov @ebsculture @sageville_neworleans @hcsnola
These first 3 photos are courtesy of “Protect the Louisiana Brown Pelican at New Orleans West End” Facebook page. And these photos are hard to look at. We are in need of a culture shift that promotes cleanliness. Join us tomorrow for the Tremé Culture of Cleanliness Trash Free Waters Rally at 4:30pm at the Tremé Center to see what we mean by #cultureshift22
Join us next Tuesday, April 19th for Tremé Culture of Cleanliness at the Tremé Center at 4:30pm 🌸 @groundworknola @ebsculture @sageville_neworleans @hcsnola @posigen_solar_solutions @biodegradable_glitter
